Sona Comstar, under its CSR initiative, collaborated with Youthreach in November 2023, to implement Digital Literacy Programme in Gurugram and Manesar, under Youthreach’s Skill Development Programme. Further, in November 2024, they expanded their support to launch a Life Skills Programme in Gurugram.

1. Key Intervention Areas in Gurugram & Manesar, Haryana

A. Skill Development

(a) Digital Literacy Centre
Presently two Digital Literacy Centres are operational under the Digital Education Programme in Begumpur Khatola and IMT Manesar respectively. These centres are run in partnership with NIIT and it aims to equip youth with basic computer skills to enhance their employability. This is a 4- month course followed by NIIT certification.

(b) Life Skills Centre
In November 2024, a Life Skill Centre was set up under the Life Skills Programme at the Begumpur Khatola, Gurugram. The objective is to equip rural youth and students with the essential emotional, social, and intellectual tools necessary to achieve success and thrive in all aspects of life. This comprehensive programme focuses on personal growth, effective relationships, community engagement, and professional development, preparing young individuals to excel in their chosen paths, whether in the workplace, entrepreneurship, or leadership roles. By fostering a holistic approach to development, we enable rural youth to unlock their full potential and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
