(a) Digital Literacy Centre
In November 2023, DMI Finance Pvt. Ltd. collaborated with Youthreach to implement a Digital Literacy Programme. As digital literacy is important for establishing a presence in the contemporary world, it provides opportunities for rural youth in terms of education, financial inclusion, and employability. Lacking the ability to use digital technologies means that there are numerous things that simply can’t be done or accessed. Possessing digital literacy allows for improving the efficiency required in the job.

Keeping this in mind, at Holi Chota, Bawal (Haryana), the DMI’s Digital Literacy Programme is being implemented for the rural students and youth to prepare them for a new breed of the workplace by teaching them how to thrive and survive in this internet-dominated world, which is now as important as reading and writing. Enrolled students are being trained in a 4-month basic computer course which will be certified by NIIT. Upon completion of the 4-month course, NIIT conducts an assessment and gives certificates to the students.

(a) Cutting and Tailoring Training Centre

In September 2025, with support from DMI Finance Pvt. Ltd., we established a Cutting and Tailoring Training Centre in Patan, Gujarat. It aimed to empower women, reduce poverty, and foster sustainable development in rural areas. Through this initiative we teach tailoring skills to girls and women in the community and enable them to make a modest living. This is a certificate course offered in collaboration with USHA International Limited (UIL). In 2025, a team of experts from UIL conducted a Training of Trainers (ToT), training selected students to become certified Master Trainers. Currently, we run one mobile centre that relocates every 4 months. UIL assesses and certifies the students upon successful course completion.
